Oklahoma City PWA Police Headquarters
Completed in 1937, with a sixth-story addition built in 1951, the Oklahoma City Historic PWA Police Headquarters is an Art Deco styled building located in the Civic Center complex, a municipal project in downtown Oklahoma City that was sponsored by the federal Public Works Administration (PWA).. The construction of the PWA Police Headquarters in Civic Center symbolized the significance of law enforcement to OKC's municipal government, community planning, and social history.
PandDStudio has written a National Register nomination and continues to work with Allied Redevelopment, LLC to secure a certified rehabilitation tax credit project for this important historic resource.
